Historic charm and friendly staff. Enjoyed the wine and cheese reception with live music. The A/C was really loud at night, making it hard to sleep.

The staff is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, especially during the wine and cheese reception with live music. The room had some noise issues, especially on weekends. Easy access to local attractions and bike tours was a huge plus.

The hotel is centrally positioned near historical landmarks, with River Street just over half a kilometer away, and beautiful Forsyth Park around 1.5 kilometers from the property, making it incredibly easy to stroll through the captivating squares and vibrant streets of downtown Savannah. the staff was friendly and the breakfast offered each morning was satisfying, held in a lovely courtyard that once served as the inn's garden. I feel that some rooms could benefit from updated amenities, as the clawfoot tub in my room felt a bit precarious for a shower.

Woke up at 2am every night to the ice maker clanging like a freight train. It was such a buzzkill for our stay! Loved having ice nearby, but the noise made for sleepless nights. Total mood killer!

Room 420 was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The Queen bed was cozy, perfect for a restful night. Temperature control worked well. the tub had noticeable paint chips, and the slow drain was frustrating. Being next to the elevator added some morning noise, particularly during breakfast rush hours. The shower felt cramped compared to other areas. The bathroom was recently upgraded, but the uneven flooring hinted at age. Staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience, especially with the thoughtful birthday surprise of a balloon and bear.

Great location and friendly staff. Lack of in-room coffee maker was disappointing.

The location was a gem in the historic district, ideal for exploring on foot. Afternoon wine receptions and engaging trivia were delightful touches. The room was clean, but felt more like a standard than a 'superior' with a sagging bed. Breakfast service disappointed; small portions and missing items made it frustrating. The staff was friendly, and the reception upon arrival was warm, emphasizing local hospitality. For the price, a few improvements could elevate the experience significantly.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on Marshall House. The room I stayed in was quite cozy, with a nice sitting area and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern, but unfortunately, there was no exhaust fan, so things got a bit steamy during showers. The temperature in the room was on the warmer side, and we couldn't adjust it, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. One thing I really enjoyed was the historic charm of the property. It had a lovely terrace where you could relax and take in the surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I loved the complimentary bottled water in the lobby. there were some areas that needed improvement. The construction work outside was quite disruptive, affecting parking and creating noise disturbances early in the morning. It would have been helpful if the hotel had informed us about these issues beforehand. the breakfast service was a bit odd, with all items being served at once instead of individually.

We explored classic cinema at Lucas Theater for the Arts, just a hop away. The staff was super chill, and we even got free evening cocktails. Dana and Lexi were legends at the front desk!
More fun for us party-loving teens would be rad!

Great location near attractions. The staff was super nice and helped us with everything we needed.
It wasn’t cheap, but considering the perks, it was fair.

This charming hotel is a stroll away from so many sites of interest, with the iconic River Street just 500 meters down the road and historic squares like Oglethorpe Square and Broughton Common within a few steps, making it easy to soak in the beauty and history of Savannah in every direction, plus the comfortable rooms and amiable staff really enhance the experience; however, the noise from upstairs guests could be a bit of a distraction at times.

Charming hotel, charming experience with friendly staff who made us feel welcome and a prime location just a ten-minute walk from the River Front and various restaurants to explore.
Totally content.

The Marshall House offers a picturesque stay in a prime downtown location, with welcoming staff and a delightful breakfast. rooms can be noisy, particularly those overlooking the breakfast area and street. Despite minor inconveniences, the elegant ambiance and proximity to attractions make it a worthwhile choice.

Charming hotel with character. Location is ideal, and staff are exceptional. A special shout-out to Mr Carleton, whose cheerful demeanor is infectious, and to Wayne, who makes trivia night a blast. The included breakfast surprised me—southern food served tableside. The evening wine receptions were delightful. The lounge is cozy, making for enjoyable nights. My superior room felt cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. Noisy from adjacent rooms and the loud heater disrupted sleep. Breakfast options were subpar, lacking in quality. Attention to room updates is needed. For the price, amenities should be enhanced. I left with mixed feelings but appreciated the experience.

Location and service were top-notch. The bed was excellent, and the room was squeaky clean. The central spot made it easy for us to explore the city's historic district on foot. The staff were super accommodating and friendly, especially the valet team. We also appreciated the fresh breakfast that gave us a good start to the day.
Thin walls made it hard to get a good night's sleep with noise from other rooms and outside keeping us up. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the loud air conditioner was a constant disruption.

I felt like a Civil War general staying in a haunted historic hotel, complete with cobblestone streets and a rumored haunting. The elegant Bistro and unique meeting rooms added to the charm.
I loved navigating through road construction right outside my window every morning.

I chose this hotel for its prime location near Ellis Square, and it didn't disappoint. The valet staff was efficient and the book to help organize my stay was a pleasant surprise. , 45 Bistro offers various options for private events and dining which I found quite impressive.
Breakfast was average, could be improved.

The historic charm of the property, from the well-maintained rooms to the antique house furniture, was simply magnificent. The central location allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions like the beautifully classic Lucas Theater for the Arts, just a short walk away.
My kids wished for more child-friendly amenities in the hotel.

The old-fashioned furniture and delicious breakfast were delightful. The hotel's historic charm added to the experience, and the location was perfect for exploring the city's main sites, providing a unique glimpse into the past.
The construction outside made it challenging to fully enjoy the balcony. Additionally, the rooms were a bit small, especially for sharing with friends.
